The Indian headquarters location excludes King Philip’s Chair, the Army Corps of Engineers confirms.

Massachusetts Connecticut and Rhode Island receive alerts as Connie potentially weakens but may regain intensity if it reenters the sea.

Highlights include Martin House open to the public, a dolls exhibit, antique furnishings, and a costume parade benefiting Martin House. Luncheon at Blithewold 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Gardens open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
About 1 000 invitations will be sent to former residents asking them to return for the 275th anniversary. Anthony P the chairman said invites will go to as many as 28 states. At a meeting last Wednesday the Bristol Senior High Alumni Association supported eager alumni participation.
