Blue Cross Hospital Service Plan Surpasses Rhode Island Enrollment
The Rhode Island Blue Cross plan reports 55 521 members as of month start, exceeding yearly expectations by over 5 000. July enrollments reach 4 718, aided by South Kingstown Lions Club participation in an experimental self employed and small business enrollment in six Washington County towns. The plan costs 75 cents to 190 dollars monthly, covers three weeks of hospital care annually with most expenses, excluding doctors and private nurses fees.
