Fall from pole hospitalizes New England Power lineman
Allen Schuler, an employee of New England Power Service, fell from a 35 foot pole on State Street while tying in wires. He was treated by Dr. John A. Mellone and others, then moved to St. Joseph's Hospital with shock and possible spinal fracture. Local witnesses reported the live wire carried 2300 volts. Schuler escaped major injury aside from a elbow abrasion.
