Disappearance of Capt Norman Sewell and Martin Gutowski
The yacht Showup crew, Capt Norman Sewell and Martin Gutowski, vanished after leaving Bristol Boatyard on April 23. A prearranged call to Mrs Gutowski from off Galilee prompted family teams to search Harbor of Refuge by air, land and water, while divers checked the harbor bottom and beach patrols scouted the shore.

Restraining Order Sought Over Post Office Zoning Change
Presiding Justice G Frederick Frost issues temporary restraining order against Knights of Columbus Building Ass'n in favor of Dr and Mrs DAngelo who oppose rezoning on State Street to allow a new post office.
