Special Committee Considers Fire Apparatus Purchases
The Town Council and Board of Fire Engineers held a two hour meeting on Tuesday night with four firms presenting apparatus and prices. The committee tentatively favored buying two combination fire trucks for 13000 but later rescinded the vote and faced calls for a fair deal and investigation from Foamster Childs Corp representative B W Dezotell.
