Bruno Succeeds DeWolf as Bristol Public Schools Medical Inspector
Dr C Paul Bruno yesterday succeeded Dr Harold DeWolf as medical inspector of the Bristol public schools. He was elected by the school committee at its Wednesday meeting with a salary of 750 dollars annually. Bruno's appointment came as a surprise, since DeWolf was expected to be reappointed. The vote ended with DeWolf Cantwell supporting Bruno Saviano Andrade Cordeiro and Mrs Janet Clark voting Bruno while Hamill abstained. DeWolf had been temporarily appointed in 1938 and officially appointed in 1939.
