American author to speak on Bristol relief work in St Michael’s
Evarts S. Scudder, longtime London relief worker, will speak at St Michael’s Parish House at 8 pm about his Bristol visit and the war relief effort. Canon Parshley and Mrs Harleigh V. Tingley arranged the appearance for Bristolians. Mrs George Spencer will introduce him and may dispatch Scudder as Bristol emissary with funds to England in 10 days.
