Bristol County Signal Suffrage League members and friends braved a storm to hear Mrs. Alice Parks of California discuss suffrage progress. She contrasted California’s rapid membership growth after granting suffrage with the state’s earlier numbers and praised the Bristol Association. Mrs. Dexter Thurber led the meeting and guests later attended a tea at Mrs. LeBaron C Colt’s home in honor of Mrs. Parks.
