Town Council approves land lease for Jewish synagogue
The Bristol Town Council near High street leased school land to the Congregation Chevra Agudas Sachrim for a 46 year term to build a Jewish synagogue. The society will buy the existing house for 300 dollars and pay 25 dollars yearly rent for the first decade. The meeting also appointed Harbor Master Samuel Wardwell Building Inspector Ernest Alden Pound Keeper Philip Manchester and approved various petitions and budget actions.
