A special meeting in the school library will hear a conference by the special commission appointed at the March financial town meeting. Walter E Ranger state education commissioner and college leaders will confer with the school committee between 7 and 8 pm, then hold an open session for taxpayers to speak on site selection for the Elizabeth Wardwell Guneras School.

Titanic Sinking Recalled In Lusitania Letter
To the Editor of the Phoenix the letter recalls the Titanic disaster of April 15 1912 when it struck an iceberg southeast of Newfoundland and sank after four hours. The ship carried nearly 2500 with room for 700 lifeboats. Carpathia rescued 705, mainly women and children. The Titanic was on its first voyage from Southampton to New York, valued at 12 500 000 in ship and cargo.

Easter Remembrances at Soldiers' Home by Relief Corps
Easter lilies were presented to all wards, the hospital, and departments of the Soldiers' Home by Mrs. Mabel D. Lockwood and other officers of the Women’s Relief Corps.
