Concrete Walks Planned Along Hope Street Near Lawless Pier
The town proposes a seven foot wide concrete sidewalk from Pleasant Street to the Herreshoff Co. shops with cement curbing and a cement gutter. Abutting owners will pay a third of costs for walks and curb, while the town covers about one third of curbing and builds a wall and fence at Lawless Pier. Additional sidewalks may be added townwide at low cost as residents apply.
