Guiteras Library Club events and sports results
The Guiteras Library Club hosted a tea on April 16 to celebrate National Library Week with faculty and library staff, chaired by Linda La Monte. Debating club members faced off on whether the third honor roll should be discontinued, resulting in a historic draw. Guiteras beat Peck Junior High in two basketball games, 12-4 and 20-11. John Partington will lead a new school tennis club with after school lessons at Town Beach courts. Junior Red Cross members attended a Providence hospital meeting to view a film on community involvement. Guiteras Majorettes, drilled by Diana Ferry, prepare for the fair football season with routines planned by Roger Diety.
