Guild Elects Mrs Felix Scott as President of St Marys Guild
Mrs Felix W Scott was elected president of the Women s Guild of St Mary s Church succeeding Mrs Douglas Crellin at the annual meeting. New officers include Mrs James Powers as vice president Mrs Eugene Reynolds as treasurer and Mrs Bernard Grabert as secretary. The annual banquet is set for May 21 at the Chanticleer Tiverton Arrangements chairman is Mrs Oliver Desilets. A Children s First Communion breakfast was set for May 11 with Mrs David J Ferris as chairman. The Catholic Charity drive covered dish project was moved to April 29 at 6 pm in the church auditorium. Refreshments were provided by Mrs Augustine Nerone Mrs Jeremiah Reynolds and Mrs Raymond Bullock.

A diphtheria pertussis tetanus vaccine clinic will be held on Friday April 23 at 10 30 am by the Bristol District Nursing Association under the sponsorship of the RI Department of Health Babies must be at least six months old The Association reported 231 visits during March and 46 general care cases Visits included 196 general care 12 pre natal eight maternity and 15 tuberculosis Sixteen babies attended four child welfare clinics and nine were examined by an MD.
