The State PTA urges local units to help, with sessions May 4 5 6 7 across school hours and varied shifts. A large American flag was unfurled at Plant H of Collins and Aikman Corp to honor mothers employed there who have sons in the Army or Navy. Open House Faces Guiteras House Renovation Reveal
The Congregational Club invites church friends to tour the refurbished Guiteras House Monday evening from 8 to 10. The renovations include a new kitchen unit with built in cupboards, added gas stove, fluorescent lighting, fresh paint, shsuaded and waxed floors, new carpet in the committee room, new papering and whitewashed ceiling, and updated cloak room lavatory and draperies. Volunteers credit both women and men for labor.
