Colt Memorial High Opens Baseball Season With Holy Family
The Colt Memorial High School baseball team opens its season this afternoon at 3 o'clock against Holy Family High School of New Bedford on the town common. Baker Jr. captains the team with Dimond and Honceman in the battery. Friday afternoon the Colts face Technical High School in Providence and the season's partial schedule includes Holy Family at Bristol on April 16 and Sacred Heart at Bristol on May 22 among other games.

Two Morrissey Brothers Gain Medical Certification
Daniel L Morrissey son of the late Chief of Police John H Morrissey has passed the medical examination and earned a State Board of Health certificate. He graduated from Colt Memorial High School in 1911 and Harvard Medical School last February and currently interns at City Hospital Providence. He plans to enter Rhode Island Hospital in July. His brother Dr John H Morrissey has practiced in Providence and is now a Lieutenant at the U S Naval Training Station Hingham Mass after enlisting in the medical reserves last February.
