Bristol Group Urges Postponement of Reciprocal Trade Treaty

Former Army Corporal Found Dead In Cottage

Raymond L. Davis a 31 year old former U S Army corporal was found dead in Col Merton A Cheesman s cottage at the Colt estate Pappasquash death attributed to natural causes by Dr John A Mellone medical inspector Funeral services are planned for Monday morning at St Michael s Church Davis was born December 12 1905 in Providence He lived with an aunt in Bristol and had been discharged from the army about a year ago after a three year tour in Honolulu He is survived by his grandmother Mrs Elizabeth A Cole Providence and other relatives Col Cheesman reported the death to police and Dr Mellone confirmed the cause of death
