School neglect charges inform Fifth District Court

New School Site Selected On High Street Bristol
The Bristol School Committee chose the west side of High street between Court and Church as the site for a new school house. They hold an option to buy about $12,000 worth of land from several owners and will move four existing buildings on the site. A building committee led by George C. Bristol Chapter D A R collected 301.35 for the Belgian Relief Fund with 83.51 raised by Warren members. Hotel Belvedere provided parlors as HQ. Volunteers sold flags and gathered donations as Belgian aid supported 4305 Belgians with one day of rations.
