Memorial Gateway Dedication at McKenzie Avenue
Dedicatory exercises were held Sunday afternoon for the Memorial Gateway at the entrance to McKenzie Avenue near the Soldiers Home. Fully 1000 people attended as 16 Womans Relief Corps and Ladies of the G A R and many veterans groups joined in the weather affected ceremony with marching units, bands, and a bronze tablet unveiling.
