Tax increase declared inevitable by Bristol town official
Town Administrator Anthony Agatiello told Bristol Town Council a tax rise is inevitable as the budget calls for a 3.50 increase in the $55.52 rate. He cited worn Public Works equipment, a building recession, inflation, and exhausted surplus as reasons while outlining an $8.498 million total budget with a $735,058 hike and substantial cuts to department requests including the school budget.
