Victor Hanselin of Bristol Aerie No 953 Fraternal Order of Eagles and King Philip Steam Fire Engine Company worked as a Namquit Worsted mill weaver. He left in August to join his regiment in France and spent 37 days in first line trenches before hospitalization for frozen feet at Benevue Castle Hospital Benziers. He was wounded in the Champagne battles but resumed duties about a week later and hopes to return to the firing line soon. His mother Mrs Pauline Hanselin moved to Woonsocket last September.
