Romano son of Paul Romano takes federal post in Washington

Bristol Manufacturing honor roll to be Bronze Tablet display

Bristol Manufacturing will update its honor roll on a Du Pont bronze tablet to be placed in front of the factory. Industrial Relations Manager Anthony Jaunes said 71 names will be inscribed now, with room for more. Current roll lists 44 in the US Army, 21 in the Navy, four in the Coast Guard and one each in the Marines and WAVES.

Gaetano Stanzione Fined For Drunken Driving

Gaetano Stanzione of 31 Garfield Avenue pleaded guilty in Fifth District Court to operating a vehicle under the influence. Judge William T O'Donnell fined him 100 dollars plus costs after police said he struck the parked car of Edward A Sousa on Oliver Street. Sousa reported the license number and Stanzione was found unfit to operate after a medical exam by Dr C Paul Bruno.

Ernest Guest Honored Before Naval Air Corps Training

He left Wednesday to begin training in the Naval Air Corps. Ferrara pleads not guilty in superior court

Frank W. Ferrara pleaded not guilty in Superior Court to an assault with a dangerous weapon charge secretly indicted by a Grand Jury last week. Judge Mortimer A. Sullivan set bail at $7500, a $2500 increase from the Fifth District Court plea. Attorney James H Kiernan protested the higher bail. Trial is scheduled for April 26.
