Dwyer Resigns From Waldron Company Plant Post
Former sewer commissioner Wal ham Dwyer resigned yesterday from the Waldron Company Aristol plumbers after ten years with the firm. Dwyer, now acting superintendent of the Bristol sewage disposal plant, said he has been offered other jobs and is a candidate for a permanent superintendent post paying about 1600 dollars annually.

Town Takes Over Title to Numerous Properties
Twenty tax deeds transferring title from delinquent taxpayers to the Town of Bristol were filed with Town Clerk John W Church by Tax Collector Amos S Gorham. With one exception the parcels are unimproved land. the sole exception is a residence formerly owned by the Cornemuls Brogan estate. Owners have one year to pay taxes, then a three month warning and loss of property if unpaid. An auction on Jan 20 yielded 35 properties, including seven frame houses. Town Solicitor Joseph A Hamanill drafted the deeds.
