Congress Hearing Postponed On Bay Hurricane Protection
Bristol representatives Frank L. Martin and R. S. Bosworth, Jr., were set to testify in Washington before the Senate Committee on Public Works on hurricane protection for Narragansett Bay. An East er recess delays the hearing to at least April 18 while a written report with damage figures from Hurricane Carol is prepared, including photos and projections for a breakwater south of the town.

Revaluation To Be Completed On Schedule In Bristol
The Town of Bristol will finish property revaluation by April 12 as planned. Louis BE Folkestad of J M Cleminshaw Co said most work remaining is in the office with occasional field checks. Two data card sets will be handed to assessors, and five days each for formal and informal hearings may be held if requested. The project began May 17, 1954, at a cost of 21 800 with 25 000 appropriation last year.

Applications for Nursing Course May Be Filed
Registration for the home nursing course sponsored by the Nursing Committee of the Bristol District Nursing Association and the American Red Cross is open. Applications should be in by April 8 with preference to previous registrants who were unable to be accommodated. The seven week course begins April 13 at 7:30 PM taught by Rosa lind McGeheart, covering bedside care and home equipment with hands on practice.
