The Community To. presents a series of late edition silent films weekly in Brim Field. Admission remains old practice with adults paying ten cents and children six cents. The building lacks sound equipment, so screenings proceed in silence.

Dell Chapman oldest resident traveled from Rock Island. he once lived in the district when the first building was erected in 1961 and served as director for seventeen years.

Miss Margaret Vorhees daughter of Mrs Jacov Stand of Kickapoo county and Collier Hill were married in a quiet ceremony Wednesday at the Arcadia Presbyterian parsonage officiated by Rev E L Fernandes. Bride wore a white silk suit. attendant Miss Marian Stenzer wore blue. Best man was Logan Hill, the groom’s twin. Both graduates from Peoria High and Brimfield High respectively. After the ceremony the couple will reside with Mr and Mrs Staab in the countryside.
On Tuesday June 27 at 7:00 p m the Cotton Blossom singers, Negro students from Piney Woods school Mississippi, will perform Negro spirituals and plantation melodies at the Methodist Church. Admission is free with a free will offering.
Peoria County Ameri can Legion plans an open meeting on June 29 1933 at 8 00 p m in Peoria Post No 2 Legion Home 408 X Monroe Street. Committee reports on County music and entertainment by Peoria Post American Legion Field Band Inc directed by Prof Forrest J Woodman.
An order signed on June 1 by Postmaster General Farley restores the two cent local rate for first class postage. On July 1 the local delivery rate becomes 2 cents per ounce or fraction, while letters to other cities stay at 3 cents and postal cards remain 1 cent.

Louis Seibold of Peoria spent Sunday evening with aunt Mrs Lena Norzke.
The Brimfield Post of the American Legion sponsors a community picnic inviting every ex service man and his family to attend on Sunday June 25. Free lemonade will be provided by the Legion as part of the event and the gathering promises food, fun, and fellowship for all attendees.
