Laura Items Clarence Keenvon of Galesburg spent Sunday with his sister Mrs Charles Thomas and family Mr and Mrs Richard Emery and 200 of Galesburg were callers at the Clarence Emery home Saturday after noon. Mrs Carl Fauth and two children spent Friday and Saturday with Mr and Mrs Dax Kuntz near New Boston. Mrs Johnnie Rolling and two children returned home Sunday after a few days to sit with relatives at Hampton. Among those in Galesburg Friday were Mr and Mrs Y Lee Brown Mrs Homer Eddy and children Mra Ruth Moore Miss Itarianee Moore and Mrs James Kesaper. Mr and Mrs Wallie Emerick and Mrs Corlizs Lafaure visited relative in Indiana over the weekend. Mr Emerick attended a bowling tournament at Ft Wayne Ind. Mrs Keigh Beamer Sue and Steve returned to their home in Tingley Iowa Sunday after spending a weekend at the Don Webster home and with Freelance at West Jersey.

A small fire started at the Phillips 65 Service Station when a car ignited a gas tank causing a short circuit. The blaze was quickly controlled with minimal damage aside from replacing the tank and calling out the fire department.
