George A Fail Funeral Held After Shotgun Death
Funeral services were held at Union Church for George A Fail who died at his Edwards home from shotgun wounds. The coroner's jury gave an open verdict. Born March 3, 1904 in Peoria County, he lived near Edwards most of his life and worked at Western Powder Mill. Survived by widow, twin daughters, his mother, and brother Charles Fail of Oak Hill, plus three sisters. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.

A card in his pocket issued May 22 to Joe Medina by the Missouri Relief and Construction commission matched the man. Inquest held Friday. body buried Saturday in Brimfield cemetery.
