Knapp moves into new office building Sunday

Dr Knapp opened his new office building to a crowded scene Sunday as residents and visitors toured the facility. The village hosted a second band concert Saturday evening and note of interest includes the M W A celebration offering warm meals for 25c at the park and the high school library open Thursday afternoons with Zula Strain as librarian.

Krey Pacey Wedding Held at Reverend Young’s Home

Frances Carolyn Pacey daughter of Mr and Mrs Lelacgh Pacey and Ralph Krey son of Mr and Mrs John Krey were married Thursday evening at the home of Reverend Harvey Young in Chillicothe. The service was read by Reverend Young with Misa Jane Pacey and Henry DeBord as attendants. The couple will reside in Monica after a trip to Texas.

Nellie Grahan Harty Rites Held at Brimfield Illinois

Funeral services for Nellie Grahan Harty were conducted at St Josephs Church Brimfield with Rev Thomas Harrison and Rev Gibert Watters officiating She was born August 3 1870 near Brimfield the last of seven children of Thomas and Bridget Crahan She married John Harty in 1895 and had four children including John T Harty and daughters Fivelyn Marguerite and Viola Surviving relatives include grandchildren great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews The service followed by prayers and interment in Calvary cemetery marked by a large gathering of family and friends.
