Miss Katie Abbott died Sunday after returning home from Peoria where she had gall stones and appendicitis operation. Born July 7, 1878, at the Jubilee homestead, she spent her life in the community and was highly regarded. Funeral held yesterday at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. W. Garish officiating. interment in Calvary cemetery.

The community learns of Mrs Neva Ashbaughs death in Monrovia California after illness. Her parents Mr and Mrs Raleigh W Guyer of Dunlap had taken her to California for recovery and will bring the body to Princeville where the funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 PM in Dunlap.
