Flying record set as London police boxers arrive in New York
Inspector Arthur J. Spriggs of the Metropolitan Police Athletic Association escorts Jack Stanley and Harry Mullin, two London police heavyweights, to New York for an imminent show down with New York Police Department rivals. The pair, 180 and 165 pounds, earned their place by defeating many contenders in elimination bouts and will represent London policing in American bouts next month.
