Norwalk woman Sabatina Palumbo held on a bench warrant accusing her of obtaining state relief funds by false pretenses. The 42 Woodward Avenue, South Norwalk resident was jailed briefly before being freed on a $1,500 estate bond furnished by Regina Marina of Norwalk. State’s Attorney Lorin Willia issued the warrant after a welfare department official reported a refusal from Norwalk’s Prosecutor Jesse Strassberger. Palumbo was taken into custody by State Police Lieut. John T. Hanusovsky and released on bond pending further action.
