Eight Injured In Sunday Auto Accidents In and Near Bridgeport
Eight persons were injured in automobile accidents in and near Bridgeport yesterday. Jens Jensen of Trumbull drove a horse and wagon without lights on Oz Hill. He was struck by Antonio Bengtsel of 44 Bunnett Street. The wagon was demolished and the horse injured. Bengteli’s car turned around and overturned. Bengteli suffered a fractured right leg and abrasions. his wife Rose and Emma Marsh were pinned beneath the car with multiple injuries. They were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital after first aid by Medical Examiner Garlick and Drs. Garlick and Engilah. Warren Church of Norwalk sustained a fractured skull and brain concussion.
