State to Spend Four Million on Road Building Planned expansion to near 100 miles of new highways

Lieutenant Isaac B Williams longtime Bridgeport Police Department member and former sparring partner of Bob Fitzsimmons died at his home 68 Baldwin Street after a five week illness following a Spanish influenza attack. He joined the force in 1857, became sergeant in 1910 and lieutenant in 1920. Born in Great Barrington Massachusetts he later moved to Bridgeport where he became a boxer and all around athlete. He was a member of the Bridgeport Lodge of Fiks St Johns lodge Masone Alpha Circle Brotherhood of Steel and the Miamegue Yacht Club. Survived by his wife, brother Charles B Williams of 651 Noble Avenue, and sister Mrs Frederick Langdon of Huntington Road.

Two Taken To Hospital After Big Truck Trolley Crash
Five people were injured in a collision on Boston avenue near Asylum street when a mobile truck driven by William Zaninelli of 69 Ash street struck a street car led by Motorman Frank Carlson of 202 Sheridan street. Auto plunge kills three in Yonkers on Central Avenue
Three men die and nine are injured when a car owned by John Feldman, a New York restaurant proprietor, plunged down a ten foot embankment on Central Avenue and rolled over, pinning occupants.
