Gun Toters Are Sent to Prison
Two prisoners pleaded guilty before Judge John E Keeler in Criminal Superior Court. Giuseppe Calabria was fined 400 and sentenced to state prison two and a half to three years for carrying a revolver and burglary charges. Henry Page of Westport, 18, received five months more in the county jail after already serving six months for carrying a loaded revolver during a burglary attempt. John Howard was sentenced to one year in jail for weapons and assault related charges from a race riot. David Cunningham and Harvas Talmadge pleaded to theft of an automobile and received one year in county jail.
