Evening Classes Filled at Tech As 4000 Register in Two Days
Registrations for Bullard-Havens Technical School evening classes for the Fall term closed after two days with more than 4000 people enrolled. John Kerp, chair of the adult education program, cited unexpected enthusiasm and noted the program will refer extra enrollees to nearby night schools in Central High, Stratford, Milford High, and Roger Ludlowe in Fairfield. Enrollments remain open for blueprint reading for machinists, industrial and building trades mathematics, stationary power engineers, and boiler tenders, with the second semester home-making course to be announced in January 1955. Classes run two and a half hours, two nights weekly.
