New York September 14 George D Christian Sr secretary to President Harding was confined to the presidential yacht Mayflower today with two fractured ribs. He slumped yesterday and fell down a companionway. Brigadier General Sawyer the President's personal physician said today the patient is going well and there is no danger.
The Republican primaries are scheduled for October 4 with the city convention on October 7. George M Eames announced after a Bridgeport visit with John A Leonard in Wallingford. Voting runs from six to nine in the evening in the 12 district city school buildings. The Democratic primary date was also noted but not fixed, pending a committee meeting.
