Bridgeport Cycle Company Sold at Public Sale
The Sport Centre and Bridgeport Cycle Company at 79 Fairfield Avenue were sold yesterday for an estimated 20009 to 350000. Edward J. Wiesson, manager, bought the store and contents from Broadway Cycle Company of Philadelphia. No change in the business is planned, Wiesson continuing in sporting goods. The sale also included the lease of the Bridgeport Cycle Company’s former Gilbert Street store with lease expiry noted.

Robbery Reported on Walter Street After Night Incident
Nicholas Noxod of 31 Gilmore Street told police yesterday that four unidentified young men lured him behind a building on Walter Street Tuesday night and robbed him of $15. Police are searching the East End for the armed robbers.

Greek Assembly Votes Site for Carnegie Library
In Athens on September 18 the Greek National Assembly approved expropriation of a magnificent Mt Leeahettus site for a Carnegie library building funded with 8200.00.
