Grandmothers Mark Organization's Birth in Danbury
The Danbury Grandmothers club celebrated its seventh anniversary at a Hotel Green Gold room dinner. Mrs. Clifford A. Teeple, president of the Connecticut State Federation of Women's Clubs, was introduced by founder Mrs. Harry Dick. Airs. Merino Capellaro and Mrs. Royal Beers provided a cake and music. Mrs. Nicholas Gankos reviewed the club's work and presented Mrs. Teeple as guest speaker. Ida Hancock, oldest member, and Mrs. James Dallas, youngest member, were honored. Mrs. Edward Schlemmer received gifts and is mother of recently born triplets at Danbury hospital.
