Bristol Oct 29 The Public Utilities commission heard two applications for a Bristol to Hartford bus route via Scott's Swamp with McDonald Brothers seeking a Bristol to Hartford charter and the New England Transportation company also requesting a similar route. Residents urged need while Cassidy of Waterbury opposed a Waterbury to Hartford link via Bristol, arguing it would harm the Waterbury to Hartford line. The commission took the applications under consideration.
