Eisenhower To Campaign in Four Cities Friday

President Eisenhower plans an eleventh hour campaign swing Friday to Cleveland Detroit Louisville and Wilmington to spur apathy weary voters. He will address airport crowds, leave Washington early Friday, and return Friday night. The four states Ohio Michigan Kentucky and Delaware each host Senate races with Governors also on the ballot in two. White House press secretary Hagerty said expenses will be paid by the Republican National Committee, with sites centrally located and not tied to any single candidate.

Father and Son Held In Wild Car Rampage

Bridgeport detective bureau and Stratford police say a stolen car driven by Richard H. Wildman, 27, with Claude Wildman, 50, at the wheel, smashed into at least six parked cars on Elm Street and Grand Avenue in downtown New Haven. The pair, of 339 Water Street, were arrested about 10 15 last night after the vehicle, linked to hit and run crashes in Bridgeport and Stratford, was found in New Haven.

Man Nabbed in Auto Theft and Parking Violations

OLD SAYBROOK Oct 27 AP State Policeman George Fagan arrested Edward Bouthiette 28 of Bristol for stealing a car from Edgcomb Steel Milford and found six Bridgeport parking tickets plus a $28 debt. The car owner Chester Jackson Bridgeport was implicated as the vehicle owner. Bouthiette was turned over to Milford police.

Norfolk prisoners given long sentences for kidnapping escape

Federal Judge Francis J. W. Ford sentenced five Norfolk Prison Colony convicts to lengthy terms after they kidnapped a guard and escaped on Aug 12. Ringleader Russell T. The Fairfield Zoning Board of Appeals approved a waiver for Bullard company to build a new foundry west of Black Rock Turnpike after a public hearing in the Town Courthouse. Adenauer Arrives in U S for Talks on Alliance

German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer landed in Washington for three days of talks to cement Germany in the Free World Alliance.
