H E Mites urged rapid labor solutions and immediate installation of training schools for women workers to meet the 660,009 new skilled workers needed in 90 days. The meeting at the Bridgeport high school auditorium drew Connecticut and western Massachusetts manufacturers to hear blunt orders to accelerate production for the American army in France.
