Three sailors died and five were injured when a submarine in the San Pedro harbor area exploded. Comley Elected Stratford Town Attorney Unanimously

Stratford Oct. 10 Judge Willam H. Comley was unanimously elected Town Attorney of Stratford at an adjourned Town Council meeting. He succeeds Albert J. Merrity who declined re-election. Comley, previously acting legal adviser to the People’s Generals Committee, now holds the post along with prior service as town legal counsel.
