Electrocution of Shelton Worker at Canal Street Plant
A 51 year old man, Frank Delco of Derby, was killed at the Sponge Rubber Products plant on Canal Street when a pneumatic drill struck an underground live cable. Firemen attempted resuscitation with a pulmotor for over an hour. Delco, a Brennan Construction employee of 15 years, was pronounced dead by Dr. Edward J. Finn. Funeral arrangements pending. He is survived by his wife Gelorme Deleo.
