Roughboy Willed Fortune by Woman Whose Life He Saved
Elmer Flickinger of Columbus Ohio is $369,096 richer after a Montgomery Alabama woman he saved two years ago through a runaway accident left him mining land leases near Montgomery. Flickinger, then in the 7th Ohio National Guard, was training at Camp Sheridan when he rescued the woman. An agent of the Cohassett Iron and Mining Co notified him of the bequest.
