Jailed Pediatrician Free Alimony Dispute Settled
CLARKSBURG W V A AP a second pediatrician in town is back in practice after an out of court alimony settlement. Dr Phillip Hall 43 jailed eight days for 4000 back alimony refused to pay one dollar a month until visits to his three children were allowed. He paid 4000 to his ex wife lawyers to end the dispute while keeping 800 monthly child support. Mothers picketed City Hall and crowded the Harrison County Circuit Court seeking access to his children. Dr Hall hoped the case would spur judges on unfair divorce laws. A Boston group Fathers United says reform is needed. An ad in a local paper asked why can t our doctor see his children.
