Driver Surrenders After Hitting Boy Outside Strait Field Hotel
John Marshall, 32, of 344 West Avenue surrendered at police headquarters and admitted driving the car that struck Anthony Salerno, 86 Oak Street, on Main Street sidewalk in front of the Strait Field Hotel Saturday night. Marshall faced four traffic charges and was released on 750 bond pending arraignment. Salerno remained in St. Vincent's Hospital in good condition with injuries to pelvis and legs.

Two Cops Hurt In Auto Crash
Two policemen were injured in a crash at Fairfield and Wordin avenues about 5 30 p m. Officers Jules Matus and Harold Bergers of the Third precinct Black Rock were taken to St Vincent s hospital for back injuries.
