Norwalk physician Dr Brown was arrested for parking more than twenty minutes on West Washington avenue. He rushed to police headquarters, demanded immediate action, and was told the court would sit that day with no trial. He was ordered to appear tomorrow. he offered to pay a fine and skip trial.
Miss Ter mine Schwed, secretary of the National Association for Constitutional Government, denounced the idea that socialism can save the Constitution. She labeled socialists Bolshevists with a hair cut and warned that their aim destroys private property and civilization. She cited English writers and politicians as urging socialism while urging Americans to study the Constitution to withstand Soviet propaganda.
Danbury may host a branch of the state labor bureau, with Mackenzie of Bethel indicating openness to the location.
