Fairfield Beach Road Sees Drive to Improve Patch
Fairfield residents and taxpayers plan a petition to County Commissioners for better upkeep of the Red Row road. They note the town collects about $7,000 in beach property taxes but spends only $400 to $600 yearly, though up to 5,000 beachgoers and many autos rely on the road each summer.
