Special Delivery Messenger riding post office motor bike suffered a fractured skull in a city center crash. The victim died from injuries sustained in the collision with another vehicle. Police said the incident occurred during daytime hours near the city center surface street.
Anthony Colangelo, 76, a Post Office messenger, died at St. Vincent's hospital after a crash on Gilbert street involving a Post Office motorcycle. Floyd Weaver, 28, of Tom Thumb street, lost part of his left foot and leg in the collision on the Black Mark turnpike in Fairfield and is hospitalized at Bridgeport.
