Shrine Exposition Opens Five Day Fair At Pleasure Beach Park
The Pyramid Temple hosts a five day Shrine Exposition and Spring Fair at Pleasure Beach Park starting Friday at 1 pm with a two day horse show. Children from Hall Home settlement will visit the grounds Monday under Associated Charities. A beauty contest draws 17 entries led by Miss Jean Cariccola. The Tropical World Exhibit features a $100,000 entomology collection by Murray Atkin of Toronto. Exhibitors include Connecticut Oil Industries, Di-Co TV, Alfred Heckman Distributors, Sears Roebuck, Remington Rand shaver division, Bridgeport Brass, Seeley and Jones, Merit Hardware, and many more listed.
