Salesman nabbed after Monroe theft on Route 25
An auto accessories salesman was arrested after leaving a Stepney service station on Route 25. He was charged with stealing 15 boxes of spark plugs. The seized plugs were found in Alfonso LaFond Deane of Milford as he was stopped on Route 25. Deane posted a $50 bond and is to appear in court May 20.

Stratford Cops Nab Man On Auto Charge
John Kohler, 42, of 129 Wordin Avenue, Bridgeport, was arrested at 3:05 p m yesterday at Barnum Avenue and California Street Stratford and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor or drugs. Patrolman George Elliott observed Kohler driving erratically on Barnum Avenue. The operator was released on $300 bond for appearance in Stratford Town Court Monday.
